How I started with Competitive Programming?

So I was fortunate enough to have my brother guide me through the starting process but I have met many people who don't understand where to start..
If you are new to CP, I would strongly suggest that you check out my brother's blog :- ProgrammingwithAM (He is SDE in Google and was Candidate Master at Codeforces)
After doing this for almost two years now... I admit studying way harder than doing a job. Because it never ends. And no matter how meticulous you try to be... it is just hard.
But what I have learned is growth is not a linear process, it happens in patches, small block..
You will not be 100% productive everyday. Out of 30 days, I believe I do my best 10 to 15 days and rest of days I just try to crawl through.
So don't be so hard on yourself... take one day at a time..
Now, here are some tips that I have.. this is something I did and I still do...
Keep a notebook and write the code with your hand.
Go to youtube and find some videos that explains the topic in your local language. Trust me it helps a lotttt!!!
Don't let your streak break, on those bad days.. try to do atleast one question. I follow leetcode daily challenge and try not to miss it for any reason.
If you can buy some inspirational posters or make them and paste them where you study. Programming can take a heavy toll on your will power. Those really help.
If you have not watched Naruto, do watch it. Everytime I see an episode I am like hell yeah! I will be hokage one day!
I had trouble with following a workout routine but it is hell lot important. I know cliche!!! but assign atleast 15 minutes for a quick walk everyday.
