Let's Start with an Introduction

So.. hello... :)

I am Anshika. I am currently a 2nd year MCA student at Manipal University Jaipur. Believe me or not, I started programming in 2021 and I fell in love immediately. At that time, I was working for the Ministry of Education (started in 2019) and everything was sort of OK.. but I don't know why I knew that this was not something that I was meant to do..

My brother is a software engineer, and he introduced me to C++ for the first time. I liked it... didn't understand it much.. but still, this was something fascinating. How computers work.. how you have to think like a toddler to make a computer understand. I still find it mind-blowing.

So I started my competitive programming journey with Codeforces. And trust me, I was about to give up on the second day. I was like, "What is this English?" I can't even understand the question at hand. And I used to call my brother (who was a Candidate Master), he was like... oh this.. it's easy... *type... type* and done. I was like whaaattt? Was it so simple? Am I even cut out for this?

So I decided to quit my job and get on with it full time..

And now I look back at those questions and I am like, oh this... it's easy.. *type..type* done! How time changes. I guess even if you are putting a little effort every day, someday you will reach that goal.

I still get stuck on various questions... even easy ones... but I guess.... take it one day at a time.
